It’s the Thunderbirds Brainjacker! ITV have announced that the man behind Channel 4’s Fonejacker and Facejacker shows, Kayvan Novak, is to voice the character Brains in the upcoming ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ children’s TV series.

The 34 year old actor and comedian, better known for his hilarious prank phone calls, will now be using his vocal talents to entertain a somewhat different audience.

ITV have commissioned a new 26 episode series to be broadcast on CITV from 2015. The new look show will still feature physically real, miniature sets. However, this time the puppets will be replaced by modern computer imagery as is the trend nowadays.

For those who don’t remember the original 1960’s Thunderbirds show, Kayvan Novak’s character Brains is an engineer, inventor and aircraft designer, who was discovered by Jeff Tracy and now works for International Rescue.

Joining Novak in the studio will be actress and Bond girl Rosamund Pike who’ll provide the voice of Lady Penelope, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster who gives speech to both Gordon and Jeff Tracy.
